    Amber! This black and white botanical has PUNCH! Even as a formal composition (which typically seems static), the radial lines give an illusion of movement not unlike a spin wheel. Those blurred edges that advance into the foreground add to the action. (Excellent choice of cropping, too!)

    Thanks, Patricia! Yes, I just love these plants! I'm embarrassed to say that I can't remember the name of them (despite being told I'm sure 100 times), but I see them a lot on my hikes. They're so photogenic!
