What we're about

This group is for people who have read "The Energy Cure" by William Bengston and would like to meet with others (and their animal companions) in a group setting to practice cycling and to discuss methods and experiences with this energy healing modality (as performed on their animal companions.)

DISCLAIMER: This group does not provide veterinary medical advice. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional veterinary medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. This group is intended to be a supportive and integrative system that is complementary to treatment by a licensed veterinary health care provider. Consult your veterinarian for a complete program for diagnosis and treatment of you animal companion's condition.

That being said...a cancer diagnosis for your beloved animal companion or your pet is one of the most difficult days you will experience. You probably felt disbelief, helplessness, frustration, confusion and fear. And, you know you would move mountains for your beloved animal friend - all seeking to provide the best and most appropriate course of action to bring him or her back into perfect and complete health.

This was the case for me when, suddenly and divinely inspired, my faithful companion of 11 years, Brando (a boxer - whippet - bull mastiff mix), was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma on October 17, 2017. Having eaten a new treat, he suddenly fell ill and was acting strangely. A booming voice inside my head commanded me to take him to the emergency vet - which resulted in them finding a severely inflamed spleen. The doctor recommended surgery immediately - leading to removal of his spleen and a portion of his liver.

Brando has been in charge of his treatment the entire time - as I listen to him energetically and go where the energy tells me to go. This resulted in us leaving one facility where he had started receiving traditional cancer treatment in the form of injectable chemotherapy to another group specializing in cancer treatment for dogs. This new group was smaller and more specialized than the first and would provide more personal and compassionate care.

They were a lovely group of people, but, I soon felt anxiety before very appointment - as if they were looking for health issues and creating a self-fulfilling prophecy - rather than making Brando well again.

Again, quite by accident, I watched the series "The Truth About Pet Cancer" and our treatment plan turned 180 degrees. Brando stopped chemotherapy. He was placed on a strict raw ketogenic diet. He started a regimen of holistic veterinary treatment. We also started Cycling, as described by William Bengston in his book, "The Energy Cure". And, almost a year later, Brando is thriving. This is all Brando's doing.

I am not a licensed practitioner of The Bengston Method nor am I affiliated with William Bengston or his practice in any way. (I am a Level 2 Reiki practitioner.) I am merely a dog-mom who wants only to see my beloved Brando as whole, perfect and complete. I would love to commune with others who also are exploring non-Western cancer treatments for their animal companions and would like to practice Cycling.

Before attending your first Meet Up, please read, in its entirety, "The Energy Cure" by William Bengston and have compiled your "List of 20 Things". (If you have read the book, you will know what this means.)

And so it is. Brando and I are looking forward to meeting you!
