We are looking for a proficient MS Access and Excel Database Programmer with minimum 5 years experience.

The initial role is for an MS Access Database Programmer is to continue to support and further develop existing MS Access applications. When the decision is made to upgrade to Microsoft Access 2007 or 2010, this role will be responsible for performing the upgrade.
The ideal candidate will have a strong programming background in MS Access 2003, 2007 and 2010 with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Essential Duties:
Maintain existing MS Access 2003 databases and reports.
Upgrade the existing MS Access 2003 database and reports to MS Access 2007 or 2010.
Develop advanced level databases, queries, and reports.
Create user guides and provide training.
Serve as a subject matter expert in data sources, analysis, query, database, application, and reporting.

Must have following expertise:
5 years of VBA / MS Access / MS Excel experience
Create and maintained MS Access 2003 database and reports.
Created and maintained MS Access 2007 database and reports.
Created and maintained MS Access 2010 database and reports.
Import data into Access from Excel, Data files and Databases using ODBC.
Export data from Access to Excel and Data files
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Work with Workforce Retriever 2012-2013 project team on implementing an MS Access 2010 Reporting Solution

Essential Duties:
Upgrade the existing MS Access 2003 Retriever Reporting database - tables, queries, and reports - to MS Access 2010.
Create Connection Protocol for MS Access 2010 by ODBC to Workforce Retriever Oracle Database
Create Retriever MS Access 2010 Report Templates for Detail, Summary, and Cross-Tab Analysis
Create Protocols for Export / Import / Conversion to MS Excel 2010 Tables, Reports, and Pivot Tables
Create Protocols for MS Access 2010 Network Security for KP Regional Users
Create Report Security / Access for WFPD regional partners to Standard Reports limited to security requirements.
Create Retriever MS Access 2010 user guides and provide user training as needed.
