What we're about

This is a workout for ACTIVE FIT seniors. We have been together for 20 years plus. We hike hills and stairways at a fast pace for at least 30 minutes then end up at the Rose Garden for 30 minutes of strength work which could include: pushups, step ups, lunges, squats, various arm exercises using 5 or 8 lb weights,abdominal exercises we stretch and work on balance also.

Please bring 3, 5 or 8 lb weights and a mat. Wear comfortable workout clothing and good hiking shoes. We hike at a vigorous pace up hills for about 30 minutes then end up back at the Rose Garden for 30 minutes of strength work which my include lunges, squats, pushups, abdominals, stretching, balance and arm work. This group is FIT and ACTIVE so please come if you are in good physical condition.
