Berkeley QS Show&Tell #1 (The Flowspace)

Thanks to QS friend Philip von Stade, we've been offered a nice place to meet in Berkeley: the Flowspace, the factory/work-space/dance studio of Flowtoys. They can fit 25 people, so I hope our Bay Area QS fellows will leave this one for us Berkeley locals.

Since the goal here is to recapture some of the more casual, conversational feel of the early Quantified Self meetups, we're going to have a minimalist program:

7 p.m: Intros - everybody talk for a minute about their projects and interests.

7:30: General discussion of what we'd like the Berkeley group to do, be about, explore resources (venues others may know?)

7:45: A few short presentations (10-15 minute), plus discussion....

8:30: Adjourn/socialize... Please let me know if you have a self-tracking project you are willing to share during the presentation time.

I look forward to seeing you!

This was a wonderful 3 hour sharing of thoughts and ideas. The local flavor was intimate and concerned. The presentations were short and thought provoking. I took 47 pics and added comments - so check those out for more specifics.

this was the best QS I have been to yet. Such a great group of people. Inspiring talks and great community of real "homebrew" QSers doing really interesting projects.

35 people was about right. Not too many but not too few. video/PPT important for telling the story.
