What we're about
Our focus is to build meaningful friendships and to cultivate a love of nature through outdoor play and exploration. We meet weekly for "Forest School" on Tuesdays from September through May. Our morning includes a communal snack, nature walk, free play in the forest, and circle time. We also offer monthly field trips and family events throughout the year. Geared primarily towards children ages 4-7, siblings welcome.
This is a secular group accepting of all faiths, backgrounds, and personal beliefs, but not affiliated with any one faith. We are a co-operative, meaning members take turns facilitating “Forest School”. There is a $12 annual membership fee to cover operation costs, as well as a per child fee for seasonal programs at Angora Fruit Farm & French Creek State Park. Members should be local to Berks County, and committed to meeting weekly.
