Baumhaus weekly Community Networking Night is about bringing together people from all walks of life who share a common desire; to act on their impulse to do what they can to make the world a better place.

Its about enjoying meeting interesting people in an authentic and informal atmosphere, developing organic relationships, through sharing perspectives and collaboratively supporting each other.

What makes community nights in the Baumhaus really special is the great vibe of the space and people...

Program

Come as early as 17:00 to join the food preparation or a bit later to enjoy some informal networking and community building during the Potluck Buffet. Bring what you have from home to share. After dinner we dive into another active meditative jam session... Feel most welcome to come and join us!

All night - please volunteer to help keep the space clean, we have no staff, just a network of people who help each other out...

Pay-as-you-feel 6-12€: We ask our guests to consider their personal budget, the value of their experiences, and the value of supporting Baumhaus so that we can continue to provide space & support to people and projects in our neighborhood and beyond.

The address is Gerichtstr. 23 in the front house on the ground floor, you can walk in our door from the sidewalk. We have some drinks available at the door but it is ok to bring your own too.

• Open Greeting Zone - an area, where you can feel free to walk up to any person or group, introduce yourself, and be welcomed into the conversation.

** Improvisational Groove Orchestra (I.G.O.) - a fun way to experience authentic connection and community through exploring a commonly created sound space. (description & links to examples below)

I.G.O. Thursday Meditative Vocal Jam Sessions @ Baumhaus

We meet every Thursday to listen, respond, observe and curiously play with the sounds our voices create together. Our objective is to tune into the common feeling we are developing in the present moment.

Most of what we do is with our eyes closed. This allows everyone to be very focused on only the sound space without any other distractions. We usually are more beginners than experienced singers, and that's absolutely fine. It is a learning process in progress, each time balancing ourselves in volume and expression to merge into the group sound space, allowing everyone to hear and be heard, naturally developing our own musical styles.

All levels and voice types are welcome! Just make sure to be on time: Scott will explain a few basic and intuitively understandable concepts to make it super easy to dive in for everyone.

Baumhaus Community Networking Night

Unser wöchentlicher Community- & Networking-Abend bringt Menschen aus allen möglichen Bereichen und Lebenssituationen zusammen, die einen Wunsch gemeinsam haben: zu tun was sie können, für eine bessere Welt.

Es geht darum, interessante Menschen in informeller und authentischer Atmosphäre zu treffen, sich zu vernetzen, indem wir unsere Perspektiven teilen und schauen, wo wir einander sinnvoll unterstützen und zusammenarbeiten können.

Was die Community-Abende im Baumhaus so besonders macht, ist die gute Stimmung im Raum und in den Leuten...

Programm

Kommt schon ab 17 Uhr und helft mit das Essen vorzubereiten, oder kommt ein bißchen später und genießt das informelle Vernetzen und die Community beim Mitbring-Buffet. Bringt von zu Hause mit, was ihr teilen wollt. Nach dem Essen starten wir eine weitere meditative Jam Session... Fühlt euch herzlich eingeladen!

21:30 I.G.O. Vocal Jam Session** - wir ziehen langsam in den hinteren Raum, wärmen uns auf und starten!

Den ganzen Abend: Wir freuen uns, wenn ihr mithelft beim Organisieren und Aufräumen, wir haben kein Personal, sondern machen dies als ein offenes Netzwerk von Leuten, die einander unterstützen wollen...

6-12€ nach Selbsteinschätzung, je nach persönlichem Budget, welchen Wert die Erfahrung im Baumhaus für euch hat, und den Wert den es für euch hat, das Baumhaus zu unterstützen, so dass wir auch weiterhin eine Plattform füre Personen & Projekte in unserer Nachbarschaft und darüber hinaus bieten können.

Die Adresse ist Gerichtstr. 23 im Vorderhaus, Erdgeschoss, die Tür geht zum Bürgersteig raus. Wir haben einige Getränke da, du kannst aber natürlich auch eigene Getränke mitbringen.

• Offene Grüßzone - ein Bereich, wo du frei auf jede Person oder Gruppe zugehen und dich selber vorstellen kannst und willkommen bist, am Gespräch teilzuhaben.

I.G.O. Jeden Donnerstag meditatives Impro-Singen im Baumhaus

Wir treffen uns jeden Donnerstag, zum Hören, Antworten, Beobachten und gemeinsam Spielen - mit dem Klang, den unsere Stimmen zusammen schaffen. Unser Ziel ist es, uns auf das gemeinsame Gefühl einzustimmen, das wir im gegenwärtigen Moment entwickeln.

Wir singen meist mit geschlossenen Augen. So können wir uns ohne Ablenkungen auf den gemeinsam erzeugten Klangraum konzentrieren. Wir sind meistens mehr Anfänger als erfahrene Sänger, und das ist absolut in Ordnung. Es ist jedes mal ein Lernprozess, wo wir unsere eigene Lautstärke und unseren eigenen Ausdruck ausbalancieren und in den gemeinsamen Klangraum einbringen, so dass alle hören und gehört werden, und wir unsere eigenen Musikstile auf natürliche Art und Weise entwickeln können.

Mitmachen ist einfach, musikalisches Talent ist nicht notwendig – alle sind willkommen! Wichtig ist nur, dass ihr rechtzeitig da seid: Scott wird zu Beginn ein paar einfache Regeln und Methoden zeigen, mit denen es super einfach ist mitzumachen.
