In the 12th century, Ismail al-Jazari created a four-piece band of programmable automatons. His invention is thought to be one of the earliest programmable musical devices. In this talk, Jack (@JackSchaedler (https://twitter.com/JackSchaedler), Ableton) will introduce you to Jazzari, a 21st century reboot of al-Jazari's band which runs in your browser and can be programmed using JavaScript.

The software used by The Nested Loops (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCn-XCASn98)

For the last three years, Jan (@thedeftone (https://twitter.com/thedeftone), SoundCloud) has worked on a live music performance software for JSConf.eu. It has evolved a lot over the year and Jan will explain how it is works and give a demonstration of the software as well.
