We’ll explore how to discover a range of business or feature ideas sourced from your own background and experiences. We’ll then look at ways to test and validate those ideas with simple prototypes. The workshop will use real-life case studies as well as audience participation and is suited for the generation of both entire business ideas as well as product features. The workshop will be held in English. In the first half of the workshop, we'll look at some techniques to get your creative juices flowing. We'll source unmet needs from areas you're an expert in and develop ideas for products or services to meet those needs. We'll also introduce you to some systematic approaches that you can apply to your own projects. In the second half, we work out simple prototypes for the ideas we came up with that have only one purpose: to tell us more about the validity of the problems and the solutions we developed. After the workshop, you'll have a systematic approach to create and validate (business) ideas at your command. Instructors: Philipp Merlin Scharff At the age of 14, Philipp started his first company: A graphic design agency for which he was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses. That was about 18 months ago and the impression about her abilities as a scientist as a science communicator are holding strong on my memory. At the moment, she works as a researcher at Charite Berlin. Hope all of you enjoy the presentation! Looking forward to seeing you then at BetaHaus in Kreuzberg!!! :-) Alex PSC, Pop Science Cafe, learning, sharing and socializing
