Everyone knows that rents are soaring throughout Los Angeles. Who knows how high they will go? Property managers do. Leasing is the front line of finding out what market rental rates are, which in turn helps determines the value of the property. This seminar will help give investors tools to determine market rents and how to use those tools to find the best deals, both on and off market.

This seminar will help investors:

—Understand the ins and outs of rent control, including recent changes in legislation.

—How to determine actual and pro forma rents.

—How to use rents to determine property value.

—Learn about current market trends in the multifamily space.

—Work with property managers to discover off market deal.


Will Tiao is a real estate broker, property manager and developer. He is the director of the commercial division of the Collective Realty and the owner/broker of Tiao Properties, a property management and real estate investment company. Based on the border of Echo Park & Silver Lake, Tiao Properties currently manages over 160 units on the "Eastside" of Los Angeles.

Will is always looking for ways to help real estate investors get their maximum return by managing, timing, and strategizing with his clients for their best interest. His office serves as an "all-in-one" stop for those looking to purchase or sell income properties and for property management.
