I've returned to offering a few in-person classes at Center for Performing Arts. Pre-registration is required. Following CFPA guidelines, participants must wear masks in the common areas, be fully vaccinated or show a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of class.

Monday, 6:15 pm - Hybrid Class (Zoom and In Person at CFPA)

Nia is a mind/body fusion fitness practice. We dance in bare feet to great music combining the energies and movements of the dance arts, martial arts and healing arts. The movements are low or non impact, the classes are welcoming and open to all. Nia is about finding pleasure in your body, tapping into the joy of movement while conditioning your entire body.

Please note that these meet-up class listings are just one way that I market my business. If you see on the meet-up that you are the only one attending, you can be assured that you will not be the only person in class. I have a strong following of women and men ages 30-75.

Join me for an online Nia class from the comfort of your home. Nia is a unique combination of nine movement forms drawn from dance, martial arts and healing arts. We move our entire bodies in a healthful, sustainable way and become aware of sensations in our bodies. We dance and move in Nia to sense joy and pleasure, not pain. Nia is for all fitness abilities and all ages. Nia can be an intense aerobic workout or more easy and gentle depending the level of intensity you bring to the movement.

You can register for one class at a time, sliding scale, $5-$20 or choose a package of classes or a monthly membership.
