Between the Veils is a spiritual exploration group where we go into the world with wonder, and conscious awareness. It is group where pagans from all walks of life join together to learn and share their spiritual knowledge and experience. It is a community of like-minded people coming together to learn, to grow and to teach and be taught. Whether you are earth centered in your spiritual practice, or are a goddess worshiper, a heathen, a pantheist, polytheist, a shamanic practitioner, a witch or simply still searching, all open minded souls are welcome here.
This is a place for discussion, for growth and for knowledge seekers. It is not a place to force your beliefs on others but rather to see our common threads. There will be nights for discussion, there will be open ritual for major Sabbats, there will be open space on the calendar for others to share their gifts and ceremonies, there will be new moon red tent gatherings for woman to celebrate their moon cycles where we can share our stories and poems, there will be nights for divination and I will host a weekly Tarot gathering where we will discuss one of the 78 cards of the tarot starting with the major arcana and moving into the minor arcana followed by tarot sharing, there will be nights for singing and chanting. There will be fairy tea parties to activate and work with the inner child, there will be holy events to share reverence.
That will not be all! Ever notice that when you are focusing on a specific aspect of life, the others tend to suffer? When tending to the spirit, the mind and body are sometimes left by the wayside. Between the Veils would like to promote growth in the body, mind, and spirit; thus we will have various Meetups that are not strictly in one aspect. A body-focused event might be yoga, a cooking lesson, or poi practice while a mind-focused event could include dusting off old writing projects, or playing imagination games. Before regarding this concept as out of the scope of the Meetup, please consider the interrelations between our aspects. A healthy body makes unclouded thinking easier, knowing that personal projects have time eases the monkey mind during meditation, and spirituality can create motivation for all else. If these things resonate with you, please check out our calendar and join us at the Crescent Muse Studio.
