Brought up in or involved in a religious cult? Have you left, or are you considering leaving, and struggling with the thought of picking up the pieces and starting a brand new life? This Meetup, based in Watford, with main monthly meetup in central London, is for those ex-Jehovah's Witnesses, ex-Mormons, ex-Hare Krishna, ex-Self Improvement group/Alcoholics Anonymous, or ANYONE who are perhaps feeling lonely, abandoned, and friendless, who are struggling with what they now deem to be a cult, to meet once a month with people who are going through exactly what you are going through. Beyond Belief* is a self-supporting group where people can come to talk, relax, and compare notes. We will provide you with resources to get you back into a life without mystical thinking - including websites, books, and advice on counseling.
*Beyond Belief is a free meetup, but if you wish to give a donation towards Meetup funds, anything you can afford will be very gratefully received, with any excess going to Responsible Charity (a secular charity)
