Beyond Labels is a Christian Fellowship of The Fort Washington Collegiate Church that is committed to creating a world where gender identity, gender expression, body presentation and sexual attraction are celebrated and recognized as a vital part of human identity and the imaging of God in the world. Beyond Labels brings together a diverse community that includes, but is not limited to, straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, and Intersex persons. Beyond Labels is rooted in a simple idea, a simple belief – that we are ALL the children of God, wonderfully made, unique and different on purpose – and that there is so much more to us than the confines of our identity labels, in short, we can move beyond labels.
