What we're about

Taking the Good News of Jesus Christ to the Streets

This group is for my brothers and sisters in Christ who want to come together to pray, learn, and go into the community to share the Good News of Christ. We are a para-church ministry open to anyone who wants to join us in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We evangelize predominantly on the streets of our respective communities and we occasionally meet together for training and equipping those who share our passion for reaching lost souls.

We will be meeting to pray for our neighbors and to to encourage and equip group members to deliver a clear presentation of the Gospel. We will be laboring together to take the Gospel door-to-door, to local sporting and community events, to public parks and train stations, to malls and even to churches. Of course, there will be potlucks too......Lord willing.

Mission Statement

Equip and encourage believers in Jesus to share the Gospel.

What We Believe

• The Bible is the inerrant inspired Word of God

• All men are sinners, separated from God by violating His law (the Ten Commandments), are deserving of eternal punishment in Hell and cannot save themselves.

• Jesus Christ, God’s son and true God, having become true man, lived, suffered and died for the sins of all people, that we need not remain separated from God.

• Whoever repents of his sin and accepts by faith, Jesus Christ as savior has forgiveness of sin and life eternal.

• Therefore each person is saved from eternal separation from God only by the grace of God himself, through faith in Jesus Christ.

• In response to this loving gift of God, Christians will strive to live Holy lives as the fruit of their faith and together with their fellow Christians in the church will serve God and do his work – including telling others the Good News!

"...And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, i but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives." - Jude 1:22,23

West End DART Station Outreach - Dallas

Location visible to members

The West End DART station is one of our favorite Fishing Holes. The DART train stop is very busy with people due to the proximity to the West End district of restaurants as well as the bus transfer station on the East side of Lamar Street. It is a wonderful place to open air preach, distribute tracts and have one on one conversations. Parking There is a parking lot at Market and Corbin. I believe it is $4. To save a little money, there is a lot at the NW corner of Ross and North Houston where you can park for $2.50. At this parking lot you put exact change into a box. Bring singles and quarters. There is some free parking in the area at meters which mostly are not in effect after 6PM. Check the meter when you park there if you choose that option. At lunch time you can park at a meter along Houston Street for about 1 cent a minute! This is generally the best value for lunch time witnessing. Plus, you just might find a meter that has some time left on it. Meeting Place From Houston Street you can walk South to Ross, then East on Ross past Market to the parking lot (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Ross+Ave+%26+N+Houston+St,+Dallas,+TX+75202&daddr=32.781093,-96.805961&hl=en&geocode=Fdwy9AEdHNI6-ikFQzL8FZlOhjGVhH9QBhyYbA%3BFSUz9AEdt9s6-g&gl=us&mra=ls&dirflg=w&sll=32.780298,-96.806706&sspn=0.002548,0.003546&ie=UTF8&ll=32.781087,-96.807243&spn=0.002548,0.003546&t=h&z=18). Cut through the Parking lot to the south to get to the meeting area. We normally meet on the North side of the train station by the parking lot that is between two buildings. The open area of the parking lot has a building on each side. On the West side the building has a sign painted on it for Sonny Bryant’s BBQ (where we normally eat lunch afterward and on the East side is a building with a sign painted on it for McDonalds. Once we meet up we will spread out around the train station and sometimes walk over to the bus station as well. Permit May be Required Please note that a permit may be required. Bezeugen Ministries has the permit for “expressive speech”. If you are with Bezeugen then you can obtain a copy from us. Otherwise contact DART (http://www.dart.org/)and ask to get an expressive speech permit for the area. The summary of the permit is: No tract distribution on the train. Do not block people.
