What we're about

Twice a year we disengage from the demands of our daily lives and take time to renew our focus on mind and body. The retreats are offered in the Spring and the Fall, just 40 minutes south of St. Louis at Hidden Hills B and B. (see directions at www.hiddenhillsbandbandb.com) The retreat features three outdoor practices which round out a complete yoga experience that includes a night time practice and two daytime practices. Each practice is all-levels, offering variations for assorted levels of abilities and yoga experience. The eating is delicious vegetarian fare, with consideration of special dietary needs. Doug and Karen Halbert are long-time yogis and are gracious and accommodating hosts. Deborah Gambill is your teacher, who is certified through the Kriya Temple of Chicago and also has an additional 150 hrs. in yoga therapy training. Aside from the varied practices, bring your walking shoes and a swimsuit. Walking amongst the vineyards and soaking in the hot tub are encouraged during the free periods. The pace of the retreat is relaxing and rejuvenating. Accommodations range from luxury suites to camping and has remained affordable for all. We LOVE our retreats!
