We are a cutting-edge, inspired, diverse and forward-focused group of minds advocating positive awareness in an increasingly dynamic world -- our mission is to share information and knowledge that can help each other, our environments and our communities.
Join us each month (from April - November) to listen, observe and discuss informational and educational content that can move us forward in our everyday lives. Discussions will be facilitated sessions by members, predetermined on a monthly basis.
Details can be accessed via the Meetup website or by visiting www.Valuvize.com/b-i-c/.
Additionally, presentations and discussions can center around any topic a presenter feels can make a difference in our lives. Some topics we've discussed in the past revolve around positive psychology, neuroscience, quantum mechanics and consciousness, self-awareness, mindfulness, and leadership.
We welcome all business and health care professionals, academics, and enthusiasts who would like to present, share, observe, and/or discuss cutting-edge knowledge on an open platform.
For anyone interested in presenting content, please ponder and provide answers to the following questions when submitting your request to present:
1. Why are you choosing the content you are presenting?
2. How does the information you are presenting add value to your life?
3. What positive effect/s do you feel this information will have on others?
We are here to gain knowledge, interact and have fun!
Typically, there are policies that need to be adhered to when participating in any event. Since we are coming together via Meetup, the following should be respected:
1. Seating is limited. When you are notified about a new Meetup event, RSVP "Yes" if you honestly intend to come along. If you are unable to attend please update your RSVP to "Not Going" before the meeting so people on the waiting list are able to take your spot -- Please follow proper "netiquette"
2, Anyone who plans on participating in face-to-face interaction should come in with an open mind and understanding that we are all unique individuals. In the BiC group, there are no right or wrong points of view -- just different. With that. all members will be expected to demonstrate the highest level of respect and courtesy to each member of the group.
