What we're about

To explore, enjoy, and protect the planet.

Big Bend Sierra Club is part of the national Sierra Club. We are made up of volunteer leaders and activists from all over the Big Bend Area. Our mission is to enjoy, explore and protect the natural places in Florida, to teach others to understand and respect the fragile environment in which we live, and to practice and promote the responsible use of Florida’s ecosystems and resources. We have programs meetings on the second Thursday of the month at the Tallahassee United Church at 1834 Mahan Dr, Tallahassee, starting at 6:30

We also have monthly outings, where we explore natural ares in North Florida For more information on upcoming programs and outings - please check out our Facebook page at Sierra Club Big Bend Group
