Collecting time series data with Cassandra, the KairosDB story.

Brian and Jeff will be presenting the schema used by KairosDB and how KairosDB uses Cassandra to store time series data.

Brian Hawkins is a senior software engineer at Proofpoint. Brian has been developing software for over 13 years, has a Masters Degree in Computer Science and has worked with big data projects for the past 5 years. Brian is an avid fan of open source and has created several open source projects, most notably the tablesaw build tool.

Jeff Sabin is a senior software developer at Proofpoint. He is one of the authors of KairosDB an open source time series database. He has more than 18 years of software development experience with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He is a husband, father, a football fan and a skiier.
