Big Data Week is a leading global festival of interconnected community events focusing on the social, political and technological impact of data. Each year, we create an entire week filled with Big Data buzz in dozens of cities around the world, with the festival’s anchor in London. This year, Big Data Week will take place during the 24th and 30th of October. During the week we are also organizing a series of workshops, webinars, meetups and other big data events, as part of the festival. Independent big data events worldwide, happening during that week, are invited to sign up and become part of BDW, and we are happy to promote them to our community members.

This year, we will host the leading conference on October 27th, in London, in a top tech central venue – etc.venues 155 Bishopsgate – and we will keep focusing on providing actionable big data insights. The main theme will be Big Data in Use - showcasing practical examples coming from different verticals, presented from both the technical and the business point of view. You may find some highlights of our 2015 conference here.
Last year’s edition gathered over 300 participants. Our aim is to bring innovative use cases on stage, showcasing innovative ideas and best practices that our attendees can implement straight away. For 2016 we decided to include speakers bringing use cases from Finance, Healthcare, Retail, IoT, Entertainment and Travel.

We have a great lineup for the conference, with top companies like Google, Shazam, Facebook, TripAdvisor and skyscanner on stage. Here you can see the entire list of confirmed speakers.

See you there!
