What: free workshop on Greenplum software tools­ that will be freely available for the Music Data Science Hackathon

When: Thursday 19th

Time Starts/ Ends: 6.30pm - 9pm


Location:  The Hub Westminster, 1st Floor New Zealand House, 80 Haymarket SW1Y 4TE­

  • Tools to be covered in the workshop:
  • Greenplum DB  & Hadoop basics
  • Greenplum Chorus: collaboration & modelling platform
  • Advanced SQL: advanced SQL components in GreenPlum (e.g windowing)
  • MADlib & Procedural Languages: open-source descriptive and data modelling modules
  • Alpine Miner: visualisation tools


Training format: Presentation slides, videoconference, demos

This workshop is completely free
