Desc: A medium to hard ride thru the National Park to Akuna Bay (check out the new coffee shop), on to Church Point and back by the North Shore beaches to Manly. A pleasant ferry ride to the Key and then home - total about 55km. ride Route: Pymble – St Ives – Terry Hills – Akuna Bay – Bayview – Warriewood – Narrabeen – Dee Why – Manly. We will avoid most of Pittwater Road by going along Narrabeen lake shore.
Grade: Medium/Hard. Experienced riders only
Pace: Moderate - will wait to regroup
Terrain: Several testing hills and descents. Trafficked on sealed roads
Ride Start: Pymble Railway Station 9.00 am
Food: Purchase at Akuna Bay, Church Point and Manly
Transport: Catch the 8.15am North Shore line train from Central to arrive at Pymble 8.53. Ferry back into town from Manly
MEET AT: Central Station for the 8:15 train.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS RIDE: A bike in good mechanical order; helmet; water bottle; a spare inner tubes in case of a puncture.
