  • Saints/Sinners CASUAL Ride – Lee Boulevard & Walker Road

    Location visible to members

Let’s head back to Walker Road and Lee Boulevard (“the Ranch at Prescott”) for another casual-ish outing this week – All interested Sunday morning cyclists are invited to take part in a scenic trip through the pines on Walker Road to the end of the pavement and back, including side loops through the Lynx Lake area off of Walker – BOTH WAYS (i.e., going out, then returning). As a preliminary to Walker Road itself, you may ride up the “warmup loop” on Lee Drive. (Or, of course, you can skip this loop and head straight over to Walker on Liese.) The loop goes all the way up Lee (to where it becomes West Lee) and around and down to connect with Morning Glow Way and back out to Lee. You then proceed over to Walker Road via Liese. Needless to say, this loop entails some additional distance and climbing. This is a great opportunity to get out on Sunday morning – A no-drop ride with regroupings at Lynx Lake (both ways) and at the end of paved Walker Road. The total distance for the basic route is approximately 24 miles and includes a bit of climbing, particularly on the way out. And then, as usual, coffee and edible items will be available afterward at Panera for those who are interested.

  • Monday Gravel Ride - Camp Wood Rd

Camp Wood And Williamson Valley Road

Meet at the intersection of Camp Wood and Williamson Valley Road. The map pin is incorrect. The ride is about 31 miles and 2100' of climbing with most of the climbing on the way out.

  • Tour de Tuesdays: Peeples Valley

    Safeway

Now that Fall weather has kicked in it's time to dust off some of my favorite longer mileage routes. The Peeples Valley ride is 60 miles with about 4800' of climbing. Regroups in Wilhoit on the way out, the store in Peeples Valley, Wilhoit again on the way back, and otherwise as needed. The ride is an out-and-back, so you can shorten it by turning around at Wilhoit or Kirkland Junction. The Tour de Tuesdays is a challenging ride. Pace can be brisk but the ride is NOT a hammer-fest. This is a no-drop ride that ALWAYS regroups for slower riders. Pace varies to suit each week's participants, and similarly paced riders ride together. Join us!

  • Watson Lake, Peavine

    Watson Lake

Meet at Watson Lake boat ramp, by bathrooms, below Hwy 89 overlook. Ride thru the woods, over the red bridge, onto Peavine, and part of Iron King. It's a 5 mile packed dirt ride out to "last tree" on Iron King trail. Stop for shade and water. Return. Mild elevation changes, speed avg 10-12MPH. With a short stop at turnaround it's about an hour ride. If we need to regroup at "Y" of Peavine and Iron King it may take longer. If anyone wants to ride one-way (i.e. to the boatramp from PV) and ride back with us, they're welcome to.

  • Walker Road PANCAKE RIDE!

    PetSmart

Yes, you can ride for pancakes two days in a row! This ride is to the Walker Road Fire department, 4980 Walker Road. We will depart from the PetSmart parking lot and ride up Walker including the Lynx Lake loop (optional) to the firehouse where we will enjoy breakfast (last time we did this, there were all kinds of pancake toppings available including ice cream!). After filling up, we'll head back down taking the lake loop. Total distance approx 18 miles, approx. 900' of climbing.

  • Project Hero Bike your Park

    Tusayan Chamber of Commerce

Ride to the Grand Canyon from Tusayan with Prescott's Project Hero. About 25 to 30 miles. Sean Hankison will lead this ride.

  • WVR PANCAKE RIDE + Fair Oaks & Tonto, w/ End of WVR Option

    Location visible to members

Time once again for Bike Prescott’s monthly Sunday morning bike ride and breakfast at the Williamson Valley Fire Department... Pancakes and socializing, followed by various rides of additional distances. First, cycle out WVR for 7-ish miles as a warmup, stopping at the fire station for breakfast. (Note: Donations are accepted.) Then it’s on to the rest of the ride... Out to Fair Oaks & Tonto (to the end of the pavement), followed by a return trip to the Old Stage Stop. [As an option, cyclists can ride an extra five+ miles out to the end of the pavement on WVR after coming back on Fair Oaks/Tonto.] This is a casual social ride for cyclists of all ability levels – Riders will regroup at several strategic locations along the route. Total distance – including both pre- and post-pancake stretches – is approximately 27 miles, with about 1600' of climbing. (The “extra credit” stretch to the end of paved WVR will tack on another 11 or so miles with just a little more uphill).

  • Monday Gravel Ride - Perkinsville Road to Jerome

    Needs a location

Meet just before mile marker 11 on Perkinsville Road in Chino at the Shooting Range parking lot on the left. 50 miles with 4500’ of climbing. This is an all gravel road (with the exception of the little bit of pavement in Jerome) - e-bikes, gravel and MTBs will work. We'll regroup at the one intersection both on the way out and back, and we'll have a stop for lunch in Jerome.
