The Hub City Loop ride kicks off this Saturday, May 5th and will continue every week, weather permitting, through the season. We will be leaving the Hub City Cycles parking lot at 8:30.
The ride is 12.4 miles with 550 feet of elevation gain. It will be at a social pace with no one left behind. And, of course, helmets will be required. We will be using Hagerstown's Hub City Loop bike route, which does include riding on roads with traffic, however, when I rode the route last weekend, traffic was light.
Lastly, Hub City Cycles has a limited number of e-bikes that can be reserved for the ride by calling ahead. So, if someone wants to do the ride, but is not certain that they can do the whole thing, an e-bike would be an option.
