Five years, ago a couple of very clever Brits came up with an idea for a grass roots – worldwide – fat-bike holiday, that would bring the fat-bike community together, like nothing we’ve ever seen before or since! December 3rd, is the date of this year’s – GLOBAL FAT-BIKE DAY!
On December 3rd, 2016, people from all over the globe, will get out for a ride on their fat-bikes! They’ll go for a solo cruise or maybe make plans to gather their fat-bike amigos, for a group ride! Don’t forget your camera, because part of the Global Fat-Bike Day celebration will include sharing your experience, through photos and video!
The Homer event is lead by Cycle Logical and is free and open to all. Ride at your own risk! Know your own abilities and limits!
It will be a 10 to 15 mile loop as a group. Please let us know if you are turning back or making a side-trip!
Meet at the Blue Shed Parking Lot between 9:45am and 10am. We'll set off by bike at 10am; no one likes to wait in the cold! Brrrr..
Plan on 30 minute drive from down-town Homer, if conditions are good.
Bring food and drink to share at lunchtime, and your own snacks & water for the day.
