This ride will start on 3 different short trails : The Pomeroy Rail Trail, James F Hall Trail, and Newark Rail Trail. These will take us through Newark to White Clay Creek State Park. We can then ride some of the easier trails there. These trails will not be paved, so a hybrid or mountain bike will be needed to ride in the White Clay Creek State Park part of our bike ride. This can be around a 2 - 3 hour ride. White Clay Creek State Park is big, so we can always ride more if desired. On our way back through Newark, we can stop for a bite to eat. Newark has a lot of places. Probably ice cream too. Directions to Kells Park : The address is 247 Kells Ave. Newark, DE 19711. From I-95 take 896 North ( South College Ave ).
