Build Your Own Electromagnet
Learn to build a simple electromagnet and how magnitism works.
Electromagnets are a type of magnet in which the magnetic field is produced by the flow of electric current. As such, the magnetic field only lasts as long as the current flows. Electromagnets are used in many applications: they often serve as components of electrical devices, as well as being used for picking up/ moving heavy iron objects.
