Small molecule libraries for drug development are poorly designed. Here Priyal talks about how he improved the existing “toolkit” in order to make libraries have more drug-like molecules as well as more diverse libraries, giving medicinal chemists access to genomic derived data in a user-friendly form. He will touch on the evolution of machine learning in the field, and the use of FAIR principles.

Priyal has a PhD in Industrial Yeast Genetics and over 25 years subsequently in the field, including stints at Royal Marsden, Seven Bridges Genomics, Genomics England, Pfizer & Pine Biotech.
