  • Most everyone in the reasturant on Wednesday evening is part of our group. Come and introduce yourself, we will be around the bar.
  • Please join the DC/MD/VA Biotechnology meet-up group for "Beers, Biotechnology and Networking". This happy hour style event is free and open to all. Food and Drinks are available for purchase off of the restaurant's happy hour menu.

    30 second elevator introductions!  At 6:30 pm each member who would like the opportunity will be given 30 seconds to introduce themselves to the group.

    In between 30 minute networking sessions we will be holding 4 minute speeches in the loose format of TED Talks. If you would like to volunteer or nominate someone to give one of these speeches please contact Moe Blackman at [masked]. The topic is yours to choose as long as it is 4 minutes or less and about the Biotechnology industry.

    Metro Stop: The restaurant is .5 miles from the Bethesda Metro Station, which is on the red line and one stop south of NIH.

    Walking from NIH:  Flanagan's Harp & Fiddle is .4 miles south of campus if leaving from the National Library of Medicine (Building 38). 

    Parking: There is both metered street parking and public garage parking to the in the surrounding area.  We recommend using the parking garage, it is only a few dollars for the entire evening when you park on the top levels of the garage.
