What we're about

NOTE: WE'RE HAVING TO TEMPORARILY POSTPONE EVENTS DUE TO CORONAVIRUS. WE'LL INFORM YOU WHEN THE EVENTS ARE RUNNING AGAIN.

This meetup group is for freelancers, side-hustlers, aspiring freelancers, or work-from-homers in Birmingham and the West Mids.

The idea is to get out of the home office and get together for relaxed networking, freelance insights, business support, co-working opportunities, and general chit-chat. In other words, to be each other's "colleagues", team, support network, and even friends. Together, we're developing a network of freelancers.

As a freelance book editor who works from home, I know that networking opportunities can be limited for freelancers, and that's why this group exists. It's a place for you to meet like-minded people in a no-pressure, informal setting. For more tips on freelancing, you can also check out my website: https://afreelancelife.co.uk/ .

Our group meets on the second Thursday of the month from 6-8pm in Cafe Artum on Corporation Street, just past the law courts. The venue is kindly provided to us by Cafe Artum and all they ask is that you buy a drink while you're there.

We'd love to see you there!
