We will meet at the Shambhala center from 6:45pm to 8:30pm. Meditation instruction will be available from Kevin at 7:00pm in the small shrine room for those of whom have not had instruction before. Everyone else can meditate with me (Brandon) in the library for about 30 minutes starting at 7:00pm. After mindfulness meditation, we will meditate socially by working on the generally glibly answered question, "how are you?" Last, we will discuss how we are all working with contentment in our lives. Of course we will eat, drink, and be merry in the tea room after we are done with all that sitting stuff.
At least through Feburary, we will be discussing the second chapter of Sacred Path of the Warrior by Chogyam Trungpa. If you do not have the book, it is on page 15 of this link http://tnsfr.com/books/Shambhala%20-%20Trungpa_%20Chogyam.pdf
“Real fearlessness is the product of tenderness. It comes from letting the world tickle your heart, your raw and beautiful heart. You are willing to open up, without resistance or shyness, and face the world. You are willing to share your heart with others.” Chögyam Trungpa
