You are welcome to attend our free networking event in Birmingham. We are a group of business people who regularly meet with a view to promoting our own businesses and obtaining new business contacts. Our aim is to help expand each others businesses by recommendations and reciprocal referrals.

We are an informal group with no formal agenda for our meetings. We just enjoy a drink and a chat and try to help each other out in business.

We visit a number of bars on Thursdays and if you are unable to visit them all you could come to at least some of them. We would appreciate your company.

The location will occasionally be changed so it is better if you could kindly text me on[masked] to confirm your attendance.

Please feel free to bring any business cards or marketing information for your business so that we can get to know more about your business.

This event is totally free and generally everyone prefers to buy their own drinks. We do not normally have a meal although you are welcome to order food at the bar. If you so wish.

Fumo was launched in June 2012 and is part of the award-winning San Carlo Group which operates outstandingly successful, modern Italian restaurants throughout the UK. They include venues in Birmingham, Bristol, Leicester, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and the legendary Signor Sassi opposite Harrods in London’s fashionable Knightsbridge Green - now in its 28th year.

Fumo is an excellent location in the centre of Birmingham for you to promote your business. If you attend one of our meetings you will soon meet other business people who will be able to help you grow your contacts and also improve your turnover.

You will make friends with business people from all kinds of professions such as Lawyers, Accountants, Bank Managers etc who will then help you with any technical question which you may have in connection with your business.

If you enjoy cocktails then Fumo is the place to visit. Why not promote your business at one of our meetings and at the same time select one of the many delicious cocktails which are available at Fumo?

San Carlo also has a portfolio of stunning Signor Sassi restaurants in capital cities across the World which currently include Kuwait, Beirut and Bangkok.

The independent, family-owned business was founded in Birmingham in 1984 by Carlo Distefano and is recognised for its superb freshly prepared regional food, impeccable service and lively, friendly atmosphere.

Where better than to meet other friendly business people in a lovely environment?

Each week the best quality ingredients are bought from the markets in Milan to ensure Carlo’s high standards, passion and insistence to ‘never compromise on quality’ are maintained.

San Carlo Group restaurants epitomise all that is best in genuine Italian hospitality. Traditionally Italian.

In addition to the above, if anyone is able to meet before our meeting in Fumo, I would like to invite them to attend a Cocktail Bar in Birmingham called Be at One the address is Piccadilly Arcade, Birmingham B2 4BJ ( http://maps.google.co.uk/?q=Be%20At%20One,Piccadilly%20Arcade,%20Birmingham,B2%204BJ ) Nearest Station Birmingham New Street. We meet here at 5.30pm before we go to Fumo.

There is a 2 for 1 offer on for cocktails at this bar and we normally reserve a table. So if you can make it here before Fumo you will be welcome.

I hope to see you there.

Also after we have been to Fumo we normally go to Marco Pierre Whites in the Cube.

The times vary but we normally head there in a taxi at about 9pm so if you would like to go there as well you are welcome.

The Cube is a 25 storey mixed-use development ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mixed-use_development ) in the centre of Birmingham ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birmingham ), England. Designed by Ken Shuttleworth ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Shuttleworth_(architect) ) of MAKE Architects ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAKE_Architects ), it contains 135 flats, 111,500 square feet (10,359 m2) of offices, shops, a hotel and a 'skyline' restaurant. It is the final phase of The Mailbox ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mailbox ) development.

The site is enclosed by The Mailbox complex, Commercial Street, Washington Wharf apartment complex and the Worcester and Birmingham Canal ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worcester_and_Birmingham_Canal )

After we have been to the Cube we often go to the Edgbaston on Highfield Rd you can come with us if you like. It is a great place to go.

The Edgbaston bar is a great way to relax after a hard day working. I am sure you will love it.

After that we then go to Shababs for something to eat. The full address is[masked] Ladypool Road

When we have finished there we go to Medusa on Hurst St.
