An Ideal Husband By Oscar Wilde

ALL MY TICKETS HAVE NOW BEEN SOLD!
There may be tickets available directly from the box office on[masked]

Sir Robert Chiltern and his charming friend Lord Arthur Goring are successful political figures. Chiltern's life is picture perfect with a loving wife Gertrude and a quick witted and intelligent sister Mable. However Goring's life rather differs, an idle philanderer with a shameless affection for Mable and an insistent father begging him to marry. The world of these men is turned upside down when old acquaintance Mrs Laura Cheveley arrives with some damning evidence of a past misdeed. Sir Robert turns to Goring for help and to confront the dilemma. But it could risk Chiltern losing his wife Gertrude and Goring's chances to finally win over Mable. As the story unfolds it is revealed that the man thought to be perfect is in fact flawed and the man with many flaws has a chance for redemption.

The wit of Oscar Wilde including blackmail, a baddie and the comic Lord Goring was an enjoyable evening's theatre.

All our pre-bought tickets have gone now.

You are very welcome to phone the theatre or buy on-line. They don't issue paper tickets - your name is just added to a list. The seats are not allocated so we can sit where we like. Meet in the bar/lounge area which is quite small.

Lovely theatre, lovely theatre company, lovely people to go with - I'm a little sad I can't make it :-)

I'll send a contact email number round on Sat morning. Nudge me if I forget!
