Fancy having some fun and widening your social network?
Then the 'Birmingham Social' group is perfect for you!
We are a friendly bunch of all ages from in and around the Midlands region, who share a common interest in meeting people and making friends.
We have a monthly meetup which is usually on the last Friday of every month. I would encourage you to take the time to have a look through our calendar to see what is already planned, as well as those listed we will be arranging many more social events throughout the year (meals, sports days, theatre, picnics, nights out etc).
Suggestions for possible events or ideas are always very welcome.
It can be quite daunting to join something like this, but remember most members feel the same and everyone is looking for the same thing which is meeting new people and getting out more. The first time you come out with us you may feel apprehensive about meeting 'strangers' but, the second time it will be like meeting old friends!
It is free to join and there is no commitment to attend. The only thing we do ask is that you add your first name, a photo of yourself and a brief intro. This is just to make it easier for you to attend events and make the most of the group. You just click on an event that you want to attend and press the ‘RSVP’ button. It's that simple! You are able to remove your profile at any point too if this is not for you, so if you are interested, sign up and see what you think.
Go on, take the plunge and join! You have nothing to lose but a whole new exciting social life and lots of new wonderful people in your life to gain!!

Couple of house rules:
This is not a dating group.
If guests come more than twice, they do need to create their own profiles accordingly.
As of the start of 2013 for new members, unless you have extenuating circumstances which you make the organiser aware of. When requesting membership; can you please ensure you have a clear photo of yourself and fill in the questions when joining and keep it shown. This is so we can all recognise each other at events and make the site a safer place all round. Many thanks.
And finally anyone who uses this group for advertising, self promotion, sponsorship or fund raising will be removed.
