Following the success of last month's meetup, we're back in September. We look forward to seeing lots of WordPress users and developers there. It doesn't matter if you're new to WordPress, if you can't write a line of code or if you live and breathe PHP (or anything in between), we'd love to see you there.

Arrive anytime from 5.45 - the meetup will start more formally at around 6.30 so don't worry if you can't make it for the beginning.

Speakers are:

Drew Kirkland (http://www.meetup.com/members/162924812/) - Using Genericons. What they are, What they do and how you can use them.

Josh Hillier (http://twitter.com/@_joshhillier) - Making WordPress work in realtime. Showcasing ways to alter various aspects of a website without user having to refresh the page. Covering such methods as the Admin Ajax API and integrating WordPress with web sockets.

David Bardell (http://www.meetup.com/members/92715912/) - Best Wordpress Tool I Ever Purchased. A hands-on demonstration of Desktop Server by Serverpress.

Jonny Allbut (http://www.meetup.com/BirminghamWordPress/members/110945662/) - Using data for bespoke design. Get smart with data to make more flexible WordPress websites for you and your clients.
