Dr. Lewin Boehnke has two roles within the Group: Head of Research at Crypto Finance AG and CTO of Crypto Storage AG. He brings his technological experience and analytical perspective from his time as a theoretical and computational physicist to everything he does. He has worked on several projects since delving into crypto assets in 2011, including early mining and writing crypto trading bots.
Lewin holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Hamburg.
Paul is CEO and Co-Founder of Edge, a mobile wallet and single-sign-on security platform for blockchain applications. Edge (formerly Airbitz) has won accolades including being one of the top 3 mobile apps for bitcoin in the 2014 Blockchain Awards, being voted in the 'Top 50 FinTech Companies to Watch' by AlwaysOn Inc, and receiving first place in the Inside Bitcoins 2015 and Coin Agenda 2016 pitch competitions. Paul held lead engineering positions with Nvidia and Chromatic Research and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley
Alexis holds a Master in New Technology public law from Paris 10 university. He served as E-Governance specialist for the United Nations. He participated in the World Summit on the Information Society in 2003 and 2005. He joined RWE Switzerland in 2008, an energy trading company, as one of the managers of the Back-Office. He also joined the Pirate Party of Switzerland to promote a human-centric and distributed approach of a technological society. Since 2013, he is the President of the Pirate Party. He is currently the CEO of Bity, a Swiss bitcoin broker company that he cofounded in 2014. He is involved in the discussions around regulation of crypto-currencies in Switzerland, he is also frequently present in the Swiss media on privacy and digital right issues.
