After a few discussions with Tom, he's not easy to stump, so bring your toughest questions. Bring your ideas. And lastly, show him your home kWh consumption, and with a 90% confidence, he'll probably guess what miners you're running and how profitable you are.
Tom Friend is a business agility consultant, trainer, and coach with 24 years of experience leading software development teams across telecom, banking, cable, federal, and energy He's a Scrum / Agile / XP master, as I understand it, and a graduate from Air War College with a BS in Aeronautics. Currently, he's leading Duke Energy's Agile Transformation. Tom works with space exploration (CubeSats), he's a military pilot, small unit leader, and squadron commander.
Blockchain is a disruptor that is emerging as the future of commerce. It will impact all industries and revolutionize the way business is conducted in the future.
Large companies that do not shift to embrace the emergence will be overtaken by the innovators that do. These companies funded by traditioanl Venture Capital (VC) or through crowd funding hold the promise of radical disruption in the high margin areas in the areas of Finance, Commerce, and Energy.
This exploration conversation will look at disruptors entering the energy market, the impact to legacy systems, and also provide an overview of power and cryptomining that fuels the distributed ledger. There are many aspects to consider in the future of blockchain. Energy is a component many times overlooked.

Option 1) The easiest option for parking is the Westin Hotel parking garage. The best way to access this garage is to pull into the main entrance of the Westin Hotel, the garage will be on the right. Ride the elevator up to the lobby, this brings you directly into the Westin. Take the first left off of the elevators through the doors and walk to the stonewall building which is on the left. Once in the lobby of the stonewall building, walk pass the security desk and press floor 9. You will be charged to park in the Westin Hotel parking garage.
Option 2) Take the light rail to Stonewall station. Once in the lobby of the stonewall building, walk pass the security desk and press floor 9.
Option 3) Park at 907 S Tryon St, 112 E. Morehead St, or 1109 S Tryon St. Walk to the Stonewall building. Once in the lobby of the Stonewall Building, walk pass the security desk and press floor 9. You will be charged to park in these lots.
