Monthly Hiking Excursion -

  • Needs a location

  • ******************************

You can pick the hike you chose which does not 'have to' be in Orange County.  We can venture out now and then.  It should be of at least Moderate intensity and be at least 5-10 miles to make it worth our drive. A special hike of less than 5 miles or greater than 10 miles is fine but should be noted.  You should suggest an eatery afterwards or see what the group wants to do.

Every Quarter we will have an "Inspiration Hike" and you don't have to do anything special. Nothing will change except it should be scheduled about two months early, so we can plan, it can be in LA or OC areas, and we'll have lunch provided after the hike and a 5-10 minute "speaker" about life, motivation, survival, hope.   Let me know if you know someone to give a short talk or to sponsor the lunch, that would be great.  BNOC is a 501(c)(3) organization so it's tax deductible.

A Hike should begin between 7am and 9am or you can be creative and do an evening hike when the Sun is still up.  Change the date, time, location etc. being mindful of conflicts, note any associated costs for parking etc. but basically do what ever you want that's safe and reasonable. Hike hosts rotate every 6 months.  Email the hosts if you have an idea or request or if you would like to rotate in for the next session.

Delete only this blocked paragraph and all the above and replace it with photo's and description of hike, type of hike (workout, fast pace, casual...), carpooling and any special instructions.  Have fun!

Our hikes exists to promote physical, mental and emotional wellness through connection with nature, team building and a little sweat.  We will start promptly, introduce ourselves, select a buddy and have a blast.  Come join us and play....   Please read the very important info below.
