There is also a paved patio area if you prefer a hard surface, where there are picnic tables and restrooms in closer proximity It is spacious and you can participate without having to be in the middle of the busy lawn area if that's not comfortable or does not meet your needs. Leo Politi is at the top of a hill and requires a vehicle to get up to the top if you need accessible parking, however Elysian Park offers accessible marked parking throughout the park and we offer a great drop off location. Many folks ride-share, or have a friend or friends drive them up to the location and drop them and picnic gear off and then drive back down and walk up. Lyft and Uber also have a drop off area at the top of the hill. Bring food, water, drinks, toilet paper (just to be safe), games, toys, and you! Happy Pride!

- Long Beach Pride
Hey ladies let's celebrate pride together! Tickets are about $22 dollars with fees or you can pay at the gate if you don't mind waiting in line. Let's all meet at the official Long Beach Pride booth inside the festival at 12pm. We will wait until about 12:15 and then head out to have a great time together. It is ideal to bring cash for the food vendors but you can use cards to purchase alcohol inside. They do bag searches so be "mindful & creative" if you are bringing anything inside. Parking historically has been $10-15 dollars. Parking is cash only. There are no ins and outs at the festival so if we can decide together to change the meet spot to "pre-game" if desired.

- Let's Talk - Black Lesbian Chat
There is nothing better than being in the company of black lesbians so let's get together and talk about it.... whatever it may be. Come join us as we engage in a fun and stimulating time together. There will be an ice-breaker question and then we can cover any interesting current events before we delve into an actual topic. Definitely feel free to come with any topics you might want to discuss (i will have some topics just in case no one else does) but the group is for everyone. This is not a group for those who just like to sit back and listen, we want everyone to participate in the conversation. Also sometimes the ice-breaker question is a fun one and sometimes a little more intimate, either way we don't want to keep repeating it and being interrupted by late arrivals. If you cannot arrive on time please consider coming to the next chat. What a nice way to make new friends and possibly meet that special someone. So let's sit down and have a GOOD OLD FASHIONED CONVERSATION, in other words LET'S TALK. Light snacks will be provided, there is a $2 donation requested to help cover expenses. When we do events in public places your profile does not matter but when we are in a private residence, such as this event, you must have an actual photo of yourself to be given the location. Also many people have their messages turned off so you cannot receive a message in Meetup, if this is the case please login and turn on the messages so you can receive the location information. If you do not get the location info prior to the day of this chat it is for one reason only, either you do not have a picture of yourself in your profile or you cannot receive a message. If you have any questions you can text Kimberly (310)[masked]
