What we're about

This is a group focused on Black people interested in owning a gun, getting a concealed carry license, learning safety, shooting techniques, etc. All skill levels are welcomed. This is a coed group. The group was started to meet and train Black women who want to be confident in protecting themselves and their families.

As of November 1, 2019, this is a free group and coed - men are allowed to join.

This group was started and is maintained by Cheryle Moses.

When we have outdoor shooting range events, we use a private club for members-only and their invited guest. YOU CANNOT ENTER THE FACILITY UNLESS ESCORTED BY CHERYLE MOSES. The range staff DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS MEETUP. DO NOT GO TO THE PRIVATE CLUBHOUSE. ALWAYS WAIT FOR CHERYLE MOSES AT THE GATE OR TOP SIGN-IN BOOTH. THE CLUBHOUSE NOR RANGE STAFF do not have any information to provide you regarding this meetup.

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS OR YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP.

"Come Meet A Black Person" Virtual Series

Online event

Racism is at the forefront of all conversations today in this country. America was built upon racism and is a part of all systems and structures. In order to eliminate racism, white America must solve this problem. The Black community is critical in giving whites and other non-Blacks the real history and the Black experience.

The first step is to acknowledge white privilege. To do that, we invite you to join us and take the "White Privilege Test" during "Come Meet A Black Person" networking event where non-Blacks interact genuinely with a group of diverse Black people. "Come Meet A Black Person" is an open forum for human beings to start better relationships with each other across our cultural and racial differences.

"Come Meet A Black Person" meets monthly and includes guest speakers, interactive questionnaires, open conversations and an awesome group of participants. We will interact in #RacismTalkRooms and #BlackExperienceRooms as we do our part in eradicating racism in America.

Black Gun Owners at the Outdoor Gun Range

Online event

Greetings Ladies and Gents!

Join the "Black Women Gun Owners" group as we continue to build relationships and empower each other to legally/responsibly/safely protect ourselves, our families and our property with firearms.

This is a free group for women and men.

We have an outdoor shooting range in Covington, Georgia. We provide information, training and certification needed to be responsible, safe gun owners. Also, we have an online gun range and a target practice strategy that works to improve your gun readiness before you come to the range!

Black Women Gun Owners are a serious group of gun owners. As of 2020, we allow men members as well to ensure ALL family members are trained, safety-conscious legal gun owners.

Life is about adapting to what is before us. With that said, we have developed an all-inclusive gun training program with exceptional
certified trainers and real-life gun users.

We believe in the second amendment of the USA constitution, protecting ourselves by any means necessary and common sense gun controls in America. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Peace and blessings!
