Black Women & Mental Health

Almost 50% of African American women are suffering from depression or some other forms of mental health. Yet, we as a community we refuse to address it. Why do we as African Americans run from this?

For many Black Americans, central feelings related to perceived self-worth, intelligence, success, and attractiveness are determined by many factors. Let's explore these factors and provide dialogue, advice, and assistance to our sisters struggling with mental health issues.
