THE BLACK YOUNG PROFESSIONALS

A social club for young black professionals (between the ages of 22-38) with common interests, professions or activities. If you are looking to have a good time, amongst delightful individuals, this is the group for you!

Events will include, dining, happy hours, dinner parties, game nights, holiday parties, festivals, movies, lectures, community service, etc.

MEMBERSHIP

In order to be considered for membership,you must be within the age range specified above, answer all of the questions provided, have at least a first name posted, and have a profile picture available. If you fail to do this, your request will be denied.

No SHOW POLICY

Since our group is all about socializing and meeting others, we want to make sure that everyone has a fair chance to attend our events. Because our events are often capped at a certain number of attendees or involve making reservations at local venues, we ask members to try their best to modify their RSVP if they are no longer able to attend an event - even if it is the day of. After two no-shows (i.e. RSVP "yes" but do not show to the event) we will ask members to kindly leave the group in order to maintain fairness with respect to everyone's time.

We understand that unexpected circumstances arise -- that's life! Just communicate with the event host. We are willing to work with you!

Bull & Oyster Roast Day Party!

Hi All! Progressive Steps Inc, is hosting it's 4th Annual Bull & Oyster Roast.

Event: Come and enjoy this adult day party with a FULL BUFFET spread of Pit beef, ham, turkey, Italian sausage, baked ziti, fried and raw oysters, MD crab soup, BBQ chicken, momma-made sides and draft beer. (that food is goodt yall)!

Feel free to bring liquor bottles (BYOB) for your table.

Event also includes live dj, cash prizes, money wheel, silent auctions, cigar bar and much more!

Tickets are $55 and all proceeds are tax-deductible.
AND...the proceeds go towards purchasing foster children coats for the winter.

Let's check out BLK Swan, a thriving Black-owned lounge/restaurant in Harbor East. By all accounts, this is one of the places to see and be seen in Baltimore.

Valet parking is available as is street parking. The reservation is for eight people so please be sure before you RSVP.
