Welcome to the Black Culture, Real Talk Meetup Community! We sincerely thank you for your support and shared interest in the betterment of our families, communities, and culture, and we appreciate those of you who have stayed with us during our long-term hiatus!

As we continue to recalibrate and restructure this group for the better, we are ready to spur new discussions and important dialgue under a NEW identity, covering a myriad of topics, issues, and problems--good, bad, and ugly--that have an impact on our culture! With that said, we graciously welcome you to the Black Culture, Real Talk Meetup Group! While the name has changed, our mission remains the same, which is to reshape the character, image, and societal value and influence of African-Americans in our country. To be clear, this group is for every soul who has a strong desire to help us carry out our mission and advance our culture forward. With this in mind, we welcome diversity and look forward to embracing people of other ethnicities and cultures.

In this group, we will initiate meaningful, thought-provoking, and engaging conversations that will lead to tactical and strategic action plans designed to effect positive and progressive change toward achieving equity concerning education, employment, healthcare, and income and wealth accumulation outcomes. In tandem, we will produce and host social networking events that will provide opportunities for our members to convene, converse, and conceive together for the greater purpose of increasing our individual and collective confidence and to create and realize harmonious success in the areas where we share similar visions and passions.

Again, we thank you for being a member of Black Culture, Real Talk, and we look forward to meeting, developing, and cultivating meaningful and invaluable relationships with people of character, substance, and the heart to effect positive and progressive change.
