Baltimore/Washington DC Caribbean Carnival with Mahogany Philly!
The Caribbean comes to the Baltimore/Washington DC area once a year with this spectacular annual carnival, attended by around half a million people. The parade, featuring more than 25 masquerade groups, kicks off the festivities on Saturday. Join Mahogany Philly for a weekend of fun! Special thanks to our Special Events Director, Dee, for suggesting and co-hosting this great event!

You have the option to select a roommate. Otherwise, roommates will be assigned.
"Caribbean Carnival is [an] annual Caribbean style parade and festival designed to encourage cross-cultural programs within the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area community in the expansion of Caribbean culture, and to educate youth and adults in Caribbean arts, crafts and culture.

8:45 a.m. - Meet at Cheltenham Mall
9:00 a.m. - Bus to Baltimore (2 hours approx.)
12:00 p.m. - Parade kickoff, food, concerts, arts and crafts
Party the night away!
The festivities continue!
5:00 p.m. - Bus to Philadelphia
7:00 p.m. - Arrival
$170 per person, dual occupancy. Final balance is due on or before June 1st.
- Rooms are available on a first-come, first served basis.
- Please note that payments are non-refundable.
- You may indicate a roommate during initial payment. Otherwise, you will be randomly assigned.

Please note that this trip is available exclusively as a package. Transportation, hotel, and top may not be purchased separately.
Participants should anticipate costs for event admission ($10 Sat/ $15 Sun), casual meals, and metro tickets.

We want to be in the heart of the action, and will be staying in the Baltimore Inner Harbor (Downtown) at the Royal Sonesta

We are booked at the beautiful Royal Sonesta Hotel. Located in the Inner Harbor, the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore offers a AAA approved 4-Diamond experience. Guest amenities include a 24-hour rooftop fitness center, swimming pool with panoramic views, racquetball and tennis court, and complimentary daily shoe shine.
Note that hotel is subject to change, but the star rating will not go down. If we can get the Ritz for the same price... we will!
