Ho Nam is a Managing Director of Altos Ventures, focusing on investments in the areas of software, mobile, and internet technologies. Ho began his VC career at Trinity Ventures and began his professional career at Bain & Company where he advised clients in technology, media and consumer products industries. Before co-founding Altos Ventures, Ho worked at Silicon Graphics and Octel Communications. Ho received an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College. Jennifer Vancini is a general partner with Mighty Capital. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience across a broad range of technologies, with extensive experience in the mobile and security industries. She has held management and executive roles in start-ups and innovation units of large organizations including Price Waterhouse, Nokia, the Symbian Foundation and Telefonica, and has served on several boards. Gaurav Tewari is the Managing Partner of Omega Venture Partners, a venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. Prior to Omega, Gaurav was Managing Director of Citi Ventures, Principal at Highland Capital, and a consultant with McKinsey. He started his career in Engineering and Product Management roles at IBM and Microsoft. Gaurav has invented nine issued US patents. He holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Computer Science from MIT and an MBA from Wharton. Ephraim Lindenbaum is the founder and managing director of Advance Ventures, a Silicon Valley ­based venture investment fund and venture accelerator that invests in seed and early­ stage start­ups. Founded in 1999, Advance Ventures has consistently achieved meaningful exits with its portfolio companies across its core market sectors. About the Moderator: James Brenner is a counsel with the firm's Corporate practice. He has extensive experience working with emerging growth companies on formation, corporate and day-to-day legal matters. James has also consulted clients in venture capital transactions and represented both buy-side and sell-side clients in public-private merger and acquisition transactions.
