  • Learn what is Blockchain for Business and the Blockchain-As-A-Service model

    • What we'll do Ever since Satoshi Nakamoto published an invention he called bitcoin in 2009, cryptocurrency has had wild ups and downs. But in the recent years, people have moved on from seeing bitcoin merely as a controversial currency and started looking into the endless possibilities that it presents. At the forefront there is the public ledger that records every bitcoin transaction known as the blockchain. The same happens with more than 1,300 other cryptocurrencies that appeared since 2009. Blockchain technology provides now exciting new alternatives to traditional currency, but beyond that it has additional uses that will change the world. In this first event in the Blockchain for Business Barcelona group we want to give an idea of why this has become so important for businesses, and why blockchain should matter to companies and to all of us.
