What is your experience in or of cohousing, intentional community, communal living?

I once spent a month in Italy (July, 2002), living in a hostel. I dare to think that this might be in same way similar. For the past 15 yrs I have been attending the' Rainbow Gathering of Living Light' in late June/ early July. For those of us who don't know this is a huge camping project, w/ anywhere from 8,000 - ha ha we have no idea- 100,000 people. Thru that, I've a decent concept of communal necessities, & living.

I'm a self-employed CMT w/ a community history of almost 25 yrs ! I am very pro-ecologically minded lover of humanity that happens to be heir to OCD, a puzzling pair of temperaments, to say the very least. And yourself ??
