What do you like to read?

I go in phases. I've been through the old cold war spy novels like Robert Ludlum and Tom Clancy, absurdist stuff like Christopher Moore, Douglas Adams and Joseph Heller. Legal thrillers, historical novels. sci-fi, military history, contemporary novels, etc... Steinbeck, John Irving, Anne Tyler, Grisham, Creighton. Recently I googled the top novels of the last decade and started reading them.

Would you read a book that is way out of your comfort zone, for the sake of discussion?

I'm relatively new to Bloomington. A Detroit native. I've always loved to read but stopped for several years and i have no idea why! I'm looking forward to meeting new people with similar interests.
