It is always best to premix electrolytes in your water and drink regularly to stay hydrated during our adventures in the woods, especially in the summertime. Also, all hikers are asked to have a contact card in their packs at all times. Include emergency contacts with email/telephone numbers, medications and pre-existing conditions. Your preparation will allow others to assist you in your time of need. Be safe and be well!
What to bring: 3 to 4 liters of water with electrolytes, snack, deet, sunscreen, swim suit, towel, hiking sticks, water shoes (stream crossings and wading).
Note: Start and end time do not include your travel time to Clevengers Corner or post-hike rehydration.
We will end the day with a rehydration stop in Sperryville
