The Foothills Trail is very diverse and offers numerous vistas, waterfalls, Jocassee Lake, the Chatooga, Toxaway, Horse Pasture, Thompson, and White Water Rivers, numerous streams and bridges, including a 226' suspension bridge over the Toxaway River, and about a million steps, most of which are on Heart Break Ridge, It really is quite the trail and I highly recommend it if you are looking to do your first thru hike.

We want to be on the trail by 8:30am the latest so we'll need to leave Table Rock by 7:30am

There is plenty of water on the trail so make sure you bring your water filter/ Purification tablets ext. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out. See you all there.
